a song about the world ending. mainly inspired by a ray bradbury short story called 'there will come soft rains' (1950). plus stephen king's 'the stand' (1978/1990). and also 'the second coming' by y.b. yeats (1919) i guess, but like, the song is only 1:27 long, so your mileage may vary on how plausible all the above is.
